Problem Solving in Relationships
Mehmet Yaygın Yöntemi
In a therapy session, you tell what happened to you and the psychologist listens. Every psychologist has his or her own way of relating to the story he or she listens to. Each psychologist shows interest in different elements of the story.
If you tell the same story to 5 different psychologists, you may get 5 different sessions in return.
The theory(s) a psychologist chooses determines which points he will pay attention to while listening to the person in front of him and how he will guide his client. This is called the Psychologist's point of view.
